The EIC Accelerator Challenges 2021 call supports companies (mainly start-ups and SMEs) to step up high-impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or change existing ones in identified areas of strategic relevance. Like the EIC Accelerator Open (Section II.3 of the EIC 2021 Work Program), the challenges of the EIC Accelerator focus on innovations based on scientific or deep-tech discoveries.
You can apply to the EIC Accelerator Challenge - Strategic Digital and Health Technologies, if you believe that your organization has the potential to be a global leader in the development of strategic technologies in one of the following areas:
    - Digital technologies: devices, methods, systems, as well as working principles, processes and standards, which apply to the ICT technology industry, etc .;
    - Medical technologies: tools based on artificial intelligence for early diagnosis; new approaches in cell and gene therapy, especially for cancer; development of new biomarkers for clinical prognosis, etc.
Submission of applications is done in 2 stages:
Deadline for the first stage: June 9, 2021
Deadline for the second stage: October 6, 2021
