ASCAPE Project - Artificial Intelligence supporting cancer patients across Europe

The ASCAPE Project - Artificial Intelligence project that supports cancer patients across Europe
The main objective of ASCAPE is to take advantage of recent advances in ICT in the field of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to support the quality of life and health of cancer patients. In order to achieve its goal, ASCAPE will create an open AI infrastructure, which will allow health stakeholders (hospitals, research institutions, companies, etc.) to deploy and execute local AI algorithms on their private data.
The project started in January 2020 and will last 3 years. The consortium consists of 15 partners from 10 different European countries, which correspond to a well-balanced structure, involving large companies, SMEs, research centers, hospitals and universities.
Within this project, a call for projects will be launched in January 2022, targeting medical stakeholders and SMEs in the field of AI.
Also, in May 2021, a project presentation event will take place, which will also contain information about the future call for projects.
