Fifteen innovative healthcare projects, involving consortia from eight Central, Eastern and Southern European countries, have been selected for support through the EIT Health RIS Innovation Call for 2020.
The winners include Chifor Vision (Chifor Research SRL), a member of ROHEALTH, with the project "Improving a prototype 3D ultrasonographic periodontal scanner, with freehand architecture, using neural networks in ultrasonographic image processing in order to automate the flow of acquired data processing." The project is coordinated by Chifor Vision (Chifor Research SRL) with partners as the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, the Romanian Institute of Science and Technology and is carried out with the support of Freshblood.
Romania is for the second consecutive year one of the countries with the most projects awarded under the EIT health RIS Innovation Call, with 4 projects funded.
