ROHEALTH is a partner in the European project ARCOE – Advancing Research Careers and Organisational Excellence, coordinated by Fondazione E. Amaldi and funded by the Horizon Europe – WIDERA TALENTS programme. The project runs from May 2025 to April 2028 and brings together 13 partners, 9 countries, 15 research-performing organisations, with the aim of strengthening researchers’ careers and developing institutional capacities in Widening countries.
ARCOE aims to create a virtual hub of the European research ecosystem, promoting the alignment of human resources practices, continuous training and cross-sectoral collaboration.
ROHEALTH contributes with its expertise in the field of health and bioeconomy, coordinating strategic communication and ecosystem engagement activities.
On June 23–24, 2025, the official Kick-Off Meeting of ARCOE was held in Rome, Italy, hosted by the project coordinator Fondazione E. Amaldi. The event gathered representatives from all consortium partners, as well as members of the European Commission, including Dario Capezzuto and Athanasia Moungou, who shared valuable insights on the project’s strategic direction and potential long-term impact. ROHEALTH was represented by Mădălina Andrei and Rucsandra-Cristina Dumitrescu, who actively contributed to planning discussions and collaborative activities during the meeting.
