Peditel (Parents of Romania Foundation) is the only free, 24/7 pediatric telephone assistance service in Romania. Established in 2014 by the Parents of Romania Foundation, Peditel provides medical triage and first-intervention guidance through a dedicated call center operated by specialized pediatric doctors.

The service is available to all parents seeking quick, professional medical advice for non–life-threatening conditions. Our medical team offers calm, patient, and reliable support, helping reassure parents and manage children’s symptoms until they can consult a pediatrician or family doctor.

Peditel provides recommendations exclusively for situations that do not endanger a child’s life. In cases requiring emergency intervention, parents are advised to call the national emergency number 112 or go directly to an Emergency Department.
